A show, knitting classes, and CLOTHES!
If you’ll lend me your ear, or your eyes - as it were, I’d love to share some exciting news with you all!
On October 23rd at my Atlanta Studio, I am hosting a group art show with some incredible local artists. Their work is amazing, and I feel so lucky to get the chance to show it! Please see details below, and if you would like to RSVP, please click here!
This past weekend, my friend Monica Farber and I launched Art Studio ATL, which is an art focused community gathering spot with classes. Last weekend we hosted our first live model drawing class, which was a huge success. A group of students gathered for two hours, and we worked through gesture drawings with longer poses as well, and I left with my cup so much fuller. My good friend and co-brainstormer Fallon will be hosting a beginning knitting workshop in late October, please click here for information on that class. I have the highest of hopes for this project. I’ve been manifesting an art community for so long, and I feel so so good about this.
Thirdly, this week I am soft launching Girls Love Dinos. GLD is a brand the kids and I have been working on for maybe the last 4 years? Born out of my daughter’s love for dinosaurs and my son’s desire to be involved, we build the brand around our drawings. Quinn’s side is the Girl’s Love Dinos brand, and Oliver’s side is the GLD x All Stars side. We have tested and tested the clothing and finally have clothes we absolutely love and wear!
